Master Built Electric Turkey Fryer

Thanksgiving wouldn't be Thanksgiving without a turkey. I like turkey as much as the other individual, but sometimes the Thanksgiving turkey gets somewhat bland. In my family, we prefer to mix things up a little bit. Heck occasionally we'll as well skip the turkey in favor of some thing a bit less traditional like ribs or prime rib. But for people who want the conventional Thanksgiving Turkey there're lots of methods to prepare a turkey (including smoking your turkey, cooking your turkey in a turkey fryer, and so on.). Here are 5 different methods to prepare turkey which are a bit unlike normal, but just as tasty.

Roasted Turkey - Firstly, I simply have to include Grandma's favourite roasted turkey. After all, what exactly would Thanksgiving be without having Grandma's roasted turkey and homemade mashed potatoes? This roasted turkey is the easiest turkey recipe you'll get. Basically, you remove the giblets and clean the turkey in cold water. Pat the turkey dry then put three Tbsp of butter under the skin. Prepare a broth made of water, chicken bouillon, onion fine-grained powder, parsley, table salt and pepper. Pour the broth directly over the turkey, cover with foil and cook for 3 1/2 hours at 350. Remove the aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes more for a golden brown skin. Serve along with home made mashed potatoes, gravy, and your favorite Thanksgiving meals!

Barbeque Turkey - We love to grill and grill all year long, whatever the weather. We put many other things on the grill, why not a turkey too? Grilling a turkey gives it a special flavor and texture that you just can't get from an oven. While barbecuing a turkey, put the turkey in a baking pan over the flames; this way you can actually baste the turkey periodically as you would do if you were roasting it.

Deep fried Turkey - Those of you who love crisp turkey skin will LOVE fried turkeys. A deep fried turkey is yummy and using a turkey fryer to cook turkeys is becoming more and more popular, particularly now that the turkey fryer is becoming a common kitchen appliance. While a lot of turkey fryers are deep fryers in which you use peanut oil in a large frying pot, there are also oil free infrared turkey fryers too, that eliminate a lot of the mess of frying. Fried turkeys tend to have dark crisp skin (which my family fights over!), and under that delicious skin is tender, perfectly prepared meat that all your family will love.

Turducken - This strange sounding turkey is a combination of different de-boned fowl: turkey, duck, and chicken. All of them are put together and layered with stuffing to create this latest addition to the Thanksgiving table.

Smoked Turkey - One amongst my favorite ways of preparing turkey is smoking it. I just love the flavour of a smoked turkey, together at Thanksgiving dinner and for those wonderful leftover turkey sandwiches. Smoking a turkey needs several hours, but it can be soooo worth it! One tip when smoking a turkey - placing a pan of water over the smoker will help hold in moisture and make a moist, juicy turkey that everybody will enjoy.
